Feilding Cricket

COMPETITION CONCLUDED. The management committee of the Fcilding Cricket Association lias declared the local A grade competition closed as from Saturday last. The Guthrie Shield for the season's championship honours is awarded to the Fcilding team, which ended the series of games up to last Saturday with 18 points, while the runners-up are Colyton with Id points. Public Service are next with 5 points and Old Boys are the “wooden spoon” winners with 2 points. The committee of the association is endeavouring to arrange for two representative matches to take place at Fcilding on March 30th, and on April oth, the Fcilding representatives arc due to play the .Southern Hawke’s Bay Association’s team at Dannevirke.
