RESULTS OF COMPETITIONS. The following are tho results of the competitions at the Technical School gala day' yesterday:— Prouse prize, Mr W. A. Bryden; Watchorn prize, Mrs Avery; putting, Mr T. K. Iloddcr; iced cake, Mr G. G. Hancox; tin of sweets, Miss Peters; walking stick, Mr R. A. Shearer 1, Mr E. Bradley 2.
Weight judging: Sheep, Mr S-. Jt Avery (621 b.) 1, Mr J. Leddra (631 b. 40z.) 2, Mr C. Prouse (601 b. 20z.) 3; correct weight, 621 b. Cooked sucking pig, Mr A. Nielsen 2511 b. Correct weight 25ilb. Blackburn sucking pig, Mr W. 'A. Bryden 121 b. Goz. Correct weight 121 b
3oz. Leg of mutton, Mr G. Allan. Correct weight 61b. 13oz. Dressed fowl, Mrs Christiansen and Miss Audrey Kerslake both guessed the correct weight, 31b. 4oz. The former won the bird. Dinner, Mr W. L. Birnie. Correct weight 131 b. The City Band played during the evening at the gala.
