300,000 PLANTS IN PULL BLOOM.

That little plot of land at Kiwitea so diligently cultivated year in and year out by Mr. David Young is the district of Feilding’s wonder garden and those who have seen this year’s 300,000 aster plants in full bloom have found themselves unable to express the thoughts registered upon beholding those colourful beds of rich blooms. The show is amazing and the true glory of this indescribably rich harvest can only be appreciated by a visit to this nursery, which to-day enjoys an overseas reputation for the aster seed it produces. This year Mr. Young is proudly able to show a production of his own culture—a doublo astor christened Kiwitea’s Pride which he devoted 12 years of painstaking study to develop to perfection. The bloom is an outstanding addition to tho list of varieties of asters and is a. tribute to tho thoroughness of Mr. Young as an korticulturalist. Already many hundreds of visitors have made tho journey to Kiwitea to gazo in wonder upon the remarkable display which flower-lovers should not miss.
