Dublin in Throes Of Transport Strike
SUSPENSION OF ENGINE-DRIVER THE CAUSE United Pres 3 Association.—By Electric Telegfaph.—Copyright. LONDON, Maich 3. Dublin is in the throes of transport trouble due to a lightning strike at the Great Western terminus, Kingsbridge, and Inchicore works, owing -to the suspension of an engine driver. The strike began with a goods train last night. The morning newspapers trains did not run, after which workmen resumed, but came out again in the evening bringing to a standstill all trains. Meanwhile, the stoppage of buses and trams is expected to-morrow owing to a. strike over the dismissal of a bus driver.
