In all probability the Prime Minister, Et. Hon. G. W. Eorbcs, who is to attend the King’s Silver Jubilee cei'ebratious, will be in London about six weeks. He and Mrs Forbes and his secretarial staff will leave Auckland by the Pacifie liner Aorangi on April 2 for Vancouver. They will break their journey across Canada at Banff and at Ottawa. Thenco they will travel to New York and there embark for Southampton, arriving in London a few days before the opening of the Royal festivities. Mr Forbes expects to return to Wellington about the second week in July. The date of opening next session of Parliament has not yet been fixed, but it is expected that legislators will be called together about the end of July or early in August, with the prospect of a comparatively short session.
