CRASH IN FRENCH SUDAN United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. LONDON, Eeb. 3. Mrs. Keith Miller, after crossing the Sashara in a flight towards Cape Town, left Naimey for Cotonou. She encountered bush fires, with smoko and mists. Her petrol became exhausted, and the was forced to land on a Toad at Calavi. She was compelled to swerve to avoid natives, collided with trees, and broke the back of the machine, which cannot be repaired locally. Mrs. Miller is uninjured, but bitterly disappointed.
