London Fogbound
MOTOR TRAFFIC HELD UP United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Wednesday, 7.35 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 21. London experienced its thickest fog for years. Motorists were held up on the outskirts and forced to abandon their cars. Taxi-drivers taking theatre-goers home refused to proceed, crowds being forced to seek accommodation at hotels, which were crowded out, people sleeping in the lounges and smoking-rooms.
