From Our Own Correspondent. Miss T. Churchill, of Feildirig, is the guest of Mrs. W. G. Pearce, "Cloverlea,” where she is recuperating after a severe operation in Palmerston North hospital. Mrs. H. E. Hocken, Miss Hocken and Mr. W. Hocken, "Grassmere,” returned home on Sunday after a short stay at Hawera. Mrs. W. Shortall and her small daughters are spending a lioiday at Christchurch. A general meeting of parishioners of St. Andrew’s .Church was held on Tuesday evening. It was decided to hold a summer flower show on February 20 In aid of church funds. Miss W, Wales was elected secretax-y and various stall holders and stewards were appointed. Consideration of the schedule was held over till a further meeting.
