The Wellington Children’s Health Camp Association wrote to the Palmerston North Hospital Board yesterday conveying thanks for willingness to pay for the maintenance of two children during their stay at the Otaki health camp. The two children in question, who 'hail from Shannon, also wrote to the board intimating that they were having a wonderful time and were putting on weight. It was the first time.one of them had seen the sea.

Since the introduction of the honey bee educated Maoris say this and other sweet flowering native trees and shrubs have greatly improved by cross fertilisation.
