Alvs. Port, a new member of the hoard, -was welcomed by the president on taking her seat for tbe first time. The resignation of Aliss A. Bryce, ns book-keeper, w ; as received with regret. In view of Aliss Bryce’s approaching marriage the secretary was authorised to convey the members’ congratulations with ait accompanying gift as a token of their appreciation of her services. The matron’s report was read, stating the health of the children was very good. Routine business was transacted and arrangements wero finalised for the children’s annual holiday at Plimmcrton.

The financial statement was presented and accounts totalling £l3 14s 9d were passed for payment. After general business, arrangements wore finalised for the annual shop days commencing on December 4 to raise monev for the children's lioliday fund.
