Chilled Beef for Export
LARGE NUMBER OF FARMERS WITNESS KILLING. Per Press Association. WANGANUI, Nov. 17. A large number of farmers visited Imlay Freezing Works this morning to witness the killing of 120 head of chilled beef, which will bo railed to Wellington and shipped. This is the first attempt at exporting chilled beef from these works. The carcases include the prize winners in tho New Zealand beef championship class at the recent Show.
