Some Ram in Westerly Districts

Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. Tho pressure remains high to the north of New Zealand, while the first of a series cl’ westerly depressions has crossed the South Island. Winds: Moderate to strong southwest to westerly winds, reaching gale force in places. Seas (N.Z. waters): Rough south of Kawhia in the Cook Strait area and south of Nugget Point; elsewhere mod crate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate to strong west to north-west winds and rather rough seas.

Weather: Cloudy to overcast in most districts, with, some rain in districts with a westerly aspect extending to eastern parts, but with little or none on the East Coast and in the far north of tho North Island. A temporary iin [movement is likely again to-morrow. Temperatures moderate.
