RESOLUTION ADOPTED BY BRITISH INDUSTRIES (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Sept. IS. An emergency meeting of the Tariffs and Commercial Treaties Committee of the Federation .of British Industries, fully attended by representatives of the leading trades of the country, J unanimously passed the following resolution, which was forwarded to the .President of the Board of Trade:— That his Majesty’s Government bo requested to take immediately tiro strongest possible action to secure a settlement of outstanding commercial debts owing by German nationals and to provide for methods which will ensure payment for current and future trade with Germany and further to negotiate with the German Government as to future trade, so that in any control or license system the position of British exporters shall not bo prejudiced.
