The Stratfo-1 Hospital Board decided to appoint a full time medical superintendent without right of private practice. The position is first being offered to Br. Stevens who now holds the position on a part time basis. Failing his acceptance the post will be advertised. The -hange is to take place on January Ist. The Board also approved the principle that doctors practicing in the area should have access to the hospital under conditions to be decided at. a subsequent meeting. The Board meeting eulogised Br. Stevens' service and expressed every conf.denco in him but the majority felt the timo had now arrived when the hospital needed a full time superintendent.
