Tornado Blows Circus Away
Tho audience .watching Tom Mix’s circus on a visit, to Jacksonville, Florida lately, had a narrow escape when a tornado "of extraordinary violence struck tho city and raged for an hour. Spectators just had time to evacuate the big circus tent before it collapsed. Tom Mix, himself, was uninjured, but an employee fractured his skull trying to save tho tent. In its half-hour of terror, tho tornado resulted in 20 people being injured, and caused damage estimated at £150,000.
