TWO 16-STONERS —EOLOFF AND MICHOT. Dan Koloff is an undoubted attraction on any wrestling bill, anywhero and any placo, and as his engagements aro limited, in order that ho can fulfil somo important fixtures for real money in Australia and bo back in America to get into serious training for tho championship belt, wo can again congratulate the local wrestling authorities on their perspicacity ia getting a match in our city with such a celebrity. Koloff’s showing in Wellington so far this season has placed him at the head of tho visiting team, and as evidence of his popularity and prowess, tho match between him and George AValker, set down for to-night at tho Town Hall in Wellington, is assured of a full house, as every available scat that can bo booked is already bespoken. Koloff is one of the Toally big men in tho mat game. He is not so tall as the big Frenchman, Reno Micliot, but has tho ideal wrestler’s physique, broad shoulders, superbly muscled, deep chest with about eight inches expansion, leg and arm muscles and bone that act like lightning to a quick-thinking brain; in fact all tho requirements of a world-beater. Rene Michot, on tho other hand, also tips tho scale at 16 stone, but is taller, with longer limbs and slighter framo. Ho is considered ono of tho good-lookers in tho foreign contingent, built more like A 1 Pereira, the handsome Portuguese of a season ago. Michot has put up such good performances against Meyer and somo of the other good men that, although he has -been beaten by Koloff previously, ho is the most likely of tlioso available to give tho Palmerston North fans tho thrills of tho clashes when giants meet. To-morrow morning, at the Central Booking Oifico in Broadway, the box plans will be open to tho public and, judging by the comments by the man in tho street, he intends to be there and seo this championship contender.
