At Princeton (New Jersey) Glenn Cunningham, from the University Kansas, set a new world’s record for the mile run in the amazing time of 4min. 6 7-10 sec., compared with the record of Lovelock, the New Zealander, of 4min. 7 6-10 sec. Ben Eastman, the Olympic star, also made a record. He ran the half-mile in lmin, 49 4-ssec.
