New Zealand, coolurcd 45s per cwt., white 475; Australian cheese is temporarily cleared. FEILDING STOCK SALE HIGHER VALUES FOE FAT SHEEP. A good sale for everything, sums up the outcome of yesterday’s Feilding stock sale. Realisations in every section support this comment and vendors who met the market cannot be other than pleased with the coniident tone manifested. Prime lambs were keenly competed for and values made 2Ss. In the case of mutton, late rates for ewe lines were slightly exceeded and heavyweight wethers experienced a good sale with prices rising to 2Ss. Female lines contributed the larger share of tho oifering of tat cuttle with prices hardening for the better linishei lots. A lone bullock, calculated to tip tho scales at something approaching three-quarters of a ton, changed hands at £S 12s Gd. This exceptional entry was made by Mr. Hcneglrau. The store sheep market was quite strong with good values obtaining for breeding owes. There was a good selection of 4 and 5-year lines which made up to 25s lOd, while the best of the 2-tlis. realised to 30s Gd. A line of ewe lambs made 23s 3d. Values for rape lambs were a shade easier. A brighter tone was noted in the store cattle sale with young run cattle making high prices. Young P.A. steers made from £4 to £5 7s Gd. Dairy stock found the market prepared to bid up for offerings showing quality and generally tho operations suggested more confidence in the butterfat market.
