Executed for Attempted Murder
SEQUEL TO CHITTAGONG BOMB OUTRAGE (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received Saturday, 1.15 p.ru. CALCUTTA, June S. Harendra Chakravarti aud Krishna Ohowdhury, who were sentenced to death for the bomb outrage at Chittagong on January 7, when the superintendent of police was wounded, were executed in Midnaporc gaol. This is the first case of capital punishment on a charge of attempted murder.
