FRANC AND STERLING. LONDON, May 23. Sterling exchange on Paris is 77 francs to £l. The par value of the French franc with sterling is 124.21 francs to £l. JOHNSONVILLE STOCK SALE. Wright, Stephenson, and Co., Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Johnsonville sale held on Wednesday as follows: —To the usual attendance of the public wo submitted a smaller yarding than usual of grown cattle and an average yarding of veal crs. Sheep came forward in the usual numbers. Owing to the short yarding, prices for bullocks and cows were Jinner than last week, whilst vealers were on a par. Sheep and lambs showed no alteration on lute rates.
