Cold and showery weather prevailed to-day and it considerably affected the attendance at the weekly Addington market. Fat Lambs. —The quality was very good in an entry of 2400 head, and values were a shade firmer. Extra good young beef made to 25s per lOOlbs, prime from 21s to 235, heavy 16s to 17s Od, secondary 15s to 17s, and inferior down to 14s. Values: Extra prime heavy steers, £9 10s to £l2 2s Od; prime heavy, £0 15s to £8 155;.. prime medium-weight, £0 to £7 10s; ordinary quality, £4 5s to £5 10s; light, to £4; extra primo heifers to £7 Is; prime, £4 5s to £7; ordinary, £2 15s to £3 15s; light to £2 30s; extra prime eows to £8 2s 6d; prime, £3 7s Od to £5 15s; ordinary, £2 5s to £3 ss; rough to £2. Store Cattle. —Good class 3 and 4vear Shorthorn steers, were offered and sold well at up to £5; 18-months to 2-year, 45s to 555; IS-months heifers, 25s to 32s Od. There was a large entry in the> fat pig section and prices were easier. Exporters were able to operate fairly freely at lower prices and well over 200 head were purchased for export. Values: Choppers, £2 to £3 38s (id, baconcrs, 42s Gd to 4.7 s Gd; heavy, 52s Od to 59s Od; extra heavy, £3 8s Gd to £3 10s Gd; average price per lb., 4Jd to sd; porkers, 25s to 28s Gd; heavy 30s Gd to 35s Gd; average price per lb, 44d to sjd. Store Pigs.—There was a small yarding, mostly large stores, which were in keen demand. Values; Wcaners, 5s to 9s; stores, slips, 8s 6d to 10s; store 3, 11s to 16s; large stores, 18s to 225; extra large, 275.
