The Daily passed the second reading, by 5S votes to 114, a Bill to abolish University representation in the iree State Parliament. Professor O’Sullivan said the Government had introduced the measure in order to gain two votes. Mr. Cosgrave declared that the Bill was an injustice to the Protestant minority. Mr. Ryan retorted that that was a deliberate untruth.
