Damages Secured By Injured Pedestrian
CLAIM AGAINST TRUCK OWNER AND DRIVER Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. Knocked down by a motor-truck at Lower Hutt on May 2, 1933, Arthur Harrison, a clerk, brought an action in the Supreme Court to-day to recover £IOBO Is damages from William Copping and Purvis Robert Sisson, owner and driver respectively of the vehicle. He was awarded £O2 10s special and £l5O general damages. Mr Justice Reed said it seemed to him that the only explanation of the accident was that the driver of the truck must have cut the corner.
