Upon landing at Fort Hancock early on Monday from the steamship Exilona, Samuel Insull was immediately place! aboard a train bound for Chicago.

Insull made a statement in connection with liis utility companies and the charges preferred against him, declaring. “I am back in America to make the most important tight of my life, not only, for freedom, hut also for complete vindication. I have erred, but my greatest error was in under-esti-mating the effects of a financial panic on American securities and particularly on companies I was trying to build.”
