Steamer Ashore

The coastal steamer Nambucca, of 415 tons, is ashore in a dangerous position at the entrance to Nambucca river. The crew of twelve is aboard. After four rocket lines had failed to roach the ship from the breakwater, rescue efforts were abandoned until the morning.
