“ Cavalcade ” Actress is Seem In “Re-Union in Vienna ”

DIANA WYNYARD AND JOHN BARRYMORE IN SPLENDID HIT

In “Re-Union in Vienna,” the

title conceals a most alluring romantic fantasy of glamorous Vienna with those supreme artists of the screen, Diana Wynward and John Barrymore, as protagonitss—the happiest possible combination.

I In this picture Miss Wynward is j Elena Krug, wife of Professor j Krug, a famous psycho-analyst, | who extracts fees from quaint | people, each possessed of a mental ! complex they would fain elucidate.

Elena is one of the pre-revolutionary regime, who has had a romance with the now banished Archduke Rudolf Maxmillian, nephew of the late Emperor Franz Josef. On an occasion there is a rc-union of the faded remnants of the old regime, and into the midst of the assemblage stalks tho handsome, dominating and semi-imbe-cilo scion of the Hapsburgs, seeking to renew his relations with Elena. She is, however, armed against the fascinations of Rudolf, and resisting his amorous approaches Tcturns home, only to be followed by tho crazy archduke. A scene of delirious humour between tho Krugs and the archduke ensues, and finally the latter, protected from arrest by the discreet herr professor, is persuaded to recross tho border and resume his occupation in Italy as a taxidriver. The picture displays a wealth of gorgeous settings, reviving the prewar glories of Vienna, and is illuminated by amazingly fine acting by all concerned.
