Damages amounting to 56,000 dollars were awarded Edward Howlett, the father of Armand Ilowlett, a student, against the University in the Supreme Court at Edmonton through the boy becoming permanently insane as a result of “hazing’’ by students, in the course of which he was divested of his clothing and dragged through the University corridors.
