Singapore Customs Big Find of Opium
THIRTY-ONE PETROL TINS PULL. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph-Copyright. Received Sunday, 7 p.xu. SINGAPORE, Oct. 29. The Customs discovered 31 petrol tins full of opium buried on an uninhabited island. The officers had been searching for weeks among hundreds of islands and along miles of coastline, but the task was hazardons owing to sharks, octopi, crocodiles and the dense jungle. It is believed there are several other caches.
