REQUEST TO TARIFF COMMISSION Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The free entry of British anaesthetics and supplies of certain drugs in ampoules, bacteriological and animal gland preparations, and a duty against goods coming from foreign countries, was sought by Mr. G. Davis, of the Dominion Dental Supplies, Co., in an application heard by the Tariff Commission this afternoon. In respect of ether and chloroform from foreign sources, a duty of 2s a pound was asked for.
