Feilding Amateur Athletic Club
On Thursday evening the committee of the Feilding Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club met with Mr. 1!. A. Levy (president) in the chair. There were also present: Messrs. Lambcrton, MePhail, Madden, Kitchen, Bade, Laurenson ami 0. Simmons (secretary). Correspondence from the CheltenhamKiwitca Sports Club in connection with their forthcoming meeting was discussed, the committee agreeing to give them all possible assistance and information regarding their cycling events.
Mr. J. Madden was re-elected hundicapper for cycling events and Mr. J. Lambcrton was appointed official starter for the ensuing season. The appointment of a handicapper for athletic events was left over. The starting time of the first race of the season was altered to 6 p.m. and which, start' ir.g from Denbigh Square, will be held on Thursday, November 2. Various matters, mainly dealing with ground provisions for the summer season, wove discussed and are to be again submitted at the next meeting.
