Keeping Basic Wage Up
NOTABLE OPPOSITION TO , LATEST CUT. United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, Oct. 26. By a unanimous vote, the Water Board decided not to apply the basis wage cut to its employees. The City Council is not likely to apply the re duction to its staffs. Another six Sydney firms have announced that they will not reduce wages.
