More Sweepstake Prizes For New Zealanders

Advice has been received from Hobart that third and fourth prizes in a sweepstake drawn to-day were won by New Zealand subscribers The third prize, £550, was drawn by “H.C.G.,” Cavell street, Dunedin, and the fourth prize, £350, was won by “Hard-up” Syndicate, care of “Miss L. J.,” Victoria street, East Auckland. Excess of Caution by Canadian Farmer SOLD HALF WINNING IRISH SWEEP TICKET. VANCOUVER, Oct. 25. A message from Crandall, Manitoba, states that Mr. Ira N. Kirk, a farmer, and the only Canadian holding an Irish Sweep ticket on Raymond lost 65,457 dollars through over-caution when he sold half the ticket, which won 141,000 dollars for 4000 dollars, to a London bookmaker.
