J.,” Victoria street, East Auckland. Excess of Caution by Canadian Farmer SOLD HALF WINNING IRISH SWEEP TICKET. VANCOUVER, Oct. 25. A message from Crandall, Manitoba, states that Mr. Ira N. Kirk, a farmer, and the only Canadian holding an Irish Sweep ticket on Raymond lost 65,457 dollars through over-caution when he sold half the ticket, which won 141,000 dollars for 4000 dollars, to a London bookmaker.
