Manawatu Show
SPACE APPLICATIONS. The freedom with which applications for space are being received for the •18th. Grand Metropolitan Agricultural Show, which commences on Wednesday, demonstrates the value that commercial men place upon the business opportunities afforded them at this great show. Likewise the volume of entries in the various live stock divisions ensures a splendid exhibition of highclass horses,' cattle, sheep and pigs. Tlic steer riding competition has again attracted a large number of the best riders in New Zealand and patrons are assured of many thrills. Another .gar attraction is the grand parado of live stock in the Oval on Friday, the third and final day of the show. Visitors should make a special point of viewing the Manawatu Kennel Club's dog show which is being held in conjunction with the major event. From indications received it is confidently believed that entries in this section will be much higher than previous shows and patrons are assured of a great exhibition.
