The Archduke Otto of Hapsburg, Pretender to the Austrian Throno, has written a letter rejecting Fascism and declaring Austria’s only hope lies in a constitutional monarchy on democratic lines similar to England. The time for restoration is not yet ripe and it must be achieved by legal methods. “I refuse to be drawn into an adventurous putsch,” ho says.

Women in Industry SUPPORT TOR HITLER'S IDEA LONDON, Sept. 24. Addressing a conference at Oxford, of works directors, managers and foremen, Sir Herbert Austin, the . motor manufacturer, urged the adoption by Britain of Hitler’s idea of removing women from industry. The women of Britain had built round themselves a position, which they had not occupied before the War. Industry was not woman’s place. He was confident that if all the women were removed therefrom, except, perhaps, in the cotton industry, it would solve the unemployment problem. British industry was now unable to support higher wages or a shorter week.

Unless the world were better orgauised, a definite move in teh opposite direction might be expected. Increasing of hours and reducing of wages was a more expedient basis.
