One Passenger Dies
BLENHEIM PLANE CRASH
Per Press Association. BLENHEIM, Sept. 25.
Mr Edgar Thomas Maindonald, of Reefton, who was injured in tho crash of a piano returning from Wellington, at the Blenheim aerodrome yesterday, died at an early hour this morning.
Mr B. Cummings, of Nelson, the other passenger, passed a good night, hut, apart from his injuries is suffering severely from shock.
Inquest Opened and Adjourned
BLENHEIM, Sept. 25.
The late Mr Maindonald, who was 29 years of age and a wellknown Reefton resident, leaves a widow and three children, tho eldest of whom is five years old and the youngest eleven months. The other passenger, Mr Bert Cummings, is a motor driver who resides at tho Ikamatua Hotel, Ikamatua, near Reefton —not Wakefield as previously telegraphed-
The inquest opened this morning, and was adjourned sine die to await Mr Cummings’s evidence.
