St. Pat's Tennis Club
OPENING DAY YESTERDAY Tho tennis season was officially launched yesterday afternoon so far as the St. Pat’s Club was concerned. This progressive club is now in a strong way numerically and there was a large attendance at the ceremony, indicating a successful season in store. Proceedings were conducted by Rev. Father Herlihy, who in a short speech wished the players a successful period of play. He then declared the courts open for the season, and following this the afternoon was devoted to play of a practise nature, everybody being keen on the game.
