Japanese ’Plane Drops Ultimatum in Peking

The Times’ Peking correspondent says that for the first time since the truce a Japanese plane circled Peking to-day, dropping showers of leaflets, containing an ultimatum to I ang Gnenwu to leave the demilitarised zone before September 26; otherwise the Japanese army would launch a punitive expedition" without further warning.
