WELLINGTON, Last Night,
An auti-oyclone is advancing on to Now Zealand, its centre being between the Queensland coast and Norfolk Island. A slight low pressure wave is moving across the South Tasman
Winds: Moderate south - westerly, veering to westerly and northerly in and south of Cook Strait, freshening somewhat.
Seas (New Zealand waters): Rather rough north of Farewell Spit and between Kaikoura and the East Cape, but decreasing, elsewhere moderate.
Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate south-west winds in the northern portion; westerly to north-easterly in the southern. Seas moderate.
Weather: Mainly fair to fine, but show-ery about Foveaux Strait. Later showers developing on the West Coast of the South Island. Temperatures becoming milder.
