As a sequel to an aeroplane crash at Johnsonville a year ago yesterday, when a Wellington Aero Club Moth ’plane was totalled destroyed by fire after hitting a house, Arnaud Henri de Tourettes was charged at Wellington yesterday with flying in such a manner as to cause unnecessary danger to persons and property, and with carrying out flying which, by reason of his low altitude and proximity to persons and dwellings, was dangerous to public safety. He pleaded not guilty and the case was adjourned to October 6 so that the necessary witnesses might be obtained. Up to yesterday morning a summons to another defendant had not been served.
