PATTERSON DISQUALIFIED AFTER STRANGLEHOLD ON rumberg. Per Press Association. 'WHANGAREI, Sept. 21. Rough tactics characterised the wrestling contest between Hal Biunborg and Jack Patterson in tho Town Hall last night. The bout ended in the fifth round with the intervention of tho police and the disqualification of Patterson, who refused to release a stranglehold on Rumberg. In the third round, Patterson secured a fall with a thunderbolt. In tho next session Rumberg evened. after a series Of flying tackles.
Walker Still Back-slamming PATTERSON BEATEN AT WANGANUI:, Per Press Association. WANGANUI, Last Night. George Walker beat Jack Patterson in a wrestling bout hero to-night by two falls to one. Tbo bout went to tho fifth round, but Walker could have finished it earlier.
Walker gained a fall in tbo third round. Patterson secured an easy fall in. the third, and Walker backslammcd him in the fifth.
