Evening Wedding at Dannevirke

KNIGHT—McKENZIE At the Methodist Church, Dannevirkc, on Monday evening last, the wedding was solemnised of Miss Grace Louisa McKenzie, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs F. E. McKenzie, of Dannevirke, and Mr Stanley Charles Knight, 8.A., son of Mr G. Knight, of Wanganui. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. H. H, Jeffery, and just before the commencement Miss E. Edgeley sang "The Voice Tnat Breathed O’er Eden” as a solo, Mr J. U. Whitehead officiating at the organ. The bride was a graceful figure in a frock of white silk spotted net over satin with tulle veil and orange blossoms. She carried a beautiful bouquet of pink and white flowers. In attendance as bridesmaid was Miss Olive McPhail, wearing a frock of pink lace with a bluo fiat, and she carried a bouquet to tone. Mr Reg Halstead was the best man. At the wedding breakfast following in the Methodist Hall the usualtoasts were honoured, interspersed with musical items by Miss Joan Edgeley and Mrs W. McPhail. Later the happy couple left by car en route to Christchurch, where the honeymoon will be spent. The present were numerous and costly, and will be useful and ornamental in the future home of Mr end Mrs Night at Upper Koiterangi.
