Milson
From Our Own Correspondent. ■ An enjoyable evening was spent at the home of Mr. and Mrs. K. McKenzie, of jlvlilson’s line, on Wednesday evening, the entertainment, .which consisted of oldtime and modern dancing, euchre, bridge land games, being organised by the Mil!son branch of the Women's Institute. At i a suitable juncture Mrs. Murphy, president of the institute, thanked Mr. and Mrs. McKenzie for the free use of their spacious room for the entertainment, and all who had assisted to make the evening the great success it was. Prizes for the euchre were won by Mrs. Wood a,nd Mr. Jack Cooper with the consolation prizes to Miss Miller and Mr. T. Wood. The prize for bridge -went to Miss D’Ath. For the dancing Mrs. Murphy supplied excellent music. A dainty supper was provided. The singing of “Auld Lang Syne” brought the entertainment to a close in the small hours of the morning. Personal. Mr. W. Rogers, electric linesman at the Palmerston North railway station, has resumed work after having his annual vacation. Mr. A. We veil, of Otarahonga, is spending a holiday with his parents at Milson’s line.
