NORTH ISLAND SECONDARY SCHOOLS’ ANNUAL TOURNAMENT. For tho first time since the secondary schools’ competition began, the annual tournament is being played on the North street park. All players aro the pick of tho North Island secondary schools and come from Auckland, Wellington, Wanganui and Manawatu. In the senior division the trophy is the Skerrett Cup, presented by the late Chief Justice Skerrett, while the juniors play for the Herbert Smith Cup. Perhaps one of the best matches of the fixture will be the senior game between Auckland and Wellington to be played on Wednesday afternoon.
