Unsettled and Squally Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. Pressure is still high to tho eastwards, but a complicated depression is moving rapidly across New Zealand today. Winds: Moderate to strong northeasterly to northerly, reaching gale force in places and backing soon to southerlies. Seas (New Zealand waters): Rough generally. Eastern Tasman Sea: Strong southwesterly winds with rough seas. Weather: Unsettled and squally with fairly general rain, and some heavy falls of snow probable in the ranges and also on parts of the low country of the southern districts. Temperatures becoming cold. Conditions imploring temporarily to-morrow, especially in western districts.
