BUTTER MARKET STEADY DAIRY BOARD’S ADVICES. The Dairy Board has received, its regular market report from London showing that the butter market is ‘ 1 steady after active buying earlier in. the week.” Prices are: New Zealand salted, 90s to 92s per cwt.; unsalted, 92s to 965; Danish, spot, 104 s to 106 s; Australian, salted and unsalted, 90s to 945. Stocks of New Zealand butter at August IS were 6700 tons, with 3500 tons at same date last year. Stocks of Australian arc 2350 tons, compared with 1525 tons last year. Siberian butter is selling at 74s to 755, and Ukrauian at 725. The cheese market is reported to be quiet, with New Zealand cheese selling retail at Cd per lb. New Zealand white is quoted at 49s to 50s per cwt,. and coloured at 51s 6d to 535. Canadian white, G2s to CSs, and coloured _s2s. English farmers’ is selling at Gss to 70s fo. finest. j
