Maori Relics
BRITISH MUSEUM COLLECTION. United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, August 18. An Aot of Parliament will be necessary to fulfil Lord Bledisloe’s proposal to recover Maori relics from the British Museum for New Zealand, says the Secretary of the Museum. A gift once accepted cannot be given away, however much the authorities may wish to do so, without Parliamentary sanction.
