Kept Liquor for Sale In No-License Area
CABARET PROPRIETOR FINED Per Press Association WELLINGTON, Last Night. Rodney Pankhurst was fined £3O, with costs, on a charge of keeping liquor for sale in a no-lieense area and on a second similar charge was convicted and ordered to pay costs. He was further fined £4 for ordering liquor and the liquor seized was confiscated, with tho suggestion that it be sent to the public hospital. Tho ease was in reference to Rodney’s Club at Seatoun.. Three waiters wore each fined £2 for abetting. A ease against a taxi-driver for delivering was dismissed.
