Church Services

The services at St. Andrew's tomorrow will both, be conducted by the Rev. G. 1\ Brown, M.A. In the morning he will preach on. the subject of “The Right Start.” The evening service will bo especially for young people, when Mr Brown will deal with the subject of “The True Response.” All are heartily invited. “The Unpardonable Sin” is Evangelist Hinrichsen’s subject this Sunday evening in the Church of Christ. Bright community singing will be led by Mr Parker. On account of limited seating, friends are advised to be early again this Sunday evening. At Emmanuel Congregational Church, Broadway, to-morrow, Rev. C. G. Hedley Bycroft will conduct both services. The subject to be considered at the morning service will be “The TlirecPold Work of the Holy Spirit Toward the World.” This will be a special message for believers. At 7 o’clock ■the subject will bo “Religious Declension.’’ This service will be finished at 8 o’clock sharp on account of the Nicholson United Mission in the Empire Hall at 8.15 p.m. A warm invitation is extended to all to worship at the Congregational Church, Broadway. There will be special services at the United Evangelical Church, when Mr Wesley Richards, the pastor, will speak in the morning on ‘‘Revival Awakenings.” Eor the evening at 7 o’clock there will be a public praise and testimony meeting for blessings received in the Nicholson United Mission. All will be warmly welcomed, and given an opportunity to take some part in the service. Only one out of ten lepers healed returned to give thanks. Chris .tians are exhorted not to belong t.o the ungrateful nine-tenths. The preacher at the Baptist Church morning and evening will be tho Pastor, C. S. Matthews. There will be meetings of prayer at 7.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. Sunday School and Bible Classes will be hold at 2.30 p.m. sharp. The evening service will close at eight o’clock to allow those who wish to, to attend tho Nicholson Mission service at 8.15 p.m., in the Empire hall.

Tho Rev. W. P. Nicholson will speak at tho Empire hall on Sunday at 3 p.m. His subject will be “Christless Christians,” There ■will bo an offering taken up at this gathering. for the Mayor’s relief fund. Tho evening gathering will be after church service at 8.11 p.m., when an evangelistic service will bo held. Many have been won for Christ during tho week. Sunday night’s gathering is expected to bo the most wonderful yet.
