Wet and Cold Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. A cyclonie depression still covers the Eastern Tasman and extends on to New Zealand. A slight westerly depression is passing Tasmania, while, the pressure is high over the greater part of Australia. Winds: Northerly north of Capo Egmont and Castlepoint, backing gradually to south-westerly; elsewhere southerly moderate to strong generally and gale forco in exposed positions. Seas (N.Z. waters): Rather rough to rough. Eastern Tasman Sea. Strong southrly winds, rough seas. Weather: Unsettled, dull and misty ith further rain in most districts; eavy in places in the North Island; :ow on tho ranges. Cool temperatures.
