The trustees of the GovernorGeneral's Winter Belief Fund have sent to the Palmerston North Central Reief Committeo a cheque far £57 being the amount donated locally and allocated to Palmerston North. Messrs Woolworths (N.Z.) Ltd., Palmerston North, have donated £lO 10/- to the relief funds. An anonymous donation of £1 also came to hand yesterday. “You want a job as herring packer?
